Since it's a for a Round Pen, I would think that the placement is on very soft soil for the horses hoves. But, you really don't know what's down deep.

I've hit really hard clay/rocks before that acquire alot more time. So if you charge and don't know what's down there, charge by the hour. Think if you hit really hard soil/rocks (assuming you don't have the hydraulic downforce attachment) and needed help with muscle and a Spud Bar. $10 per hole may not be worth it.
