1*With the FEL and the BH I have all the traction and ballast I need so why bother with the expense of filling the tires when it's not necessary?1*Why empty versus filled?
2*Bar tires would chew up my lawn in no time.
3*right now, split between the turf (R3) tires and the industrial (R4) tires.
Also Flats with filled tires are a bummer.
2*What makes you think that?
I certainly haven't found that to be true with this.

3*Turfs and industrials wil tear up the ground as bad or worse that Bars if they start spinning.
1*Twice the money twice the work and really little or no benefit over just going with AGs and forgeting all the hassles .Ah, the never-ending tire question.Well, I have the R4s on my 2310 and while they have served me well, I think that if I had it to do over again, I would probably go with the turf tires. I'm just not convinced that for my application, the R4s were really necessary.
1*Then again, maybe the answer is just to have both types of tires mounted on rims.![]()
Another more expensive more labor intensive. way to acheive the same results as having R1s.If worse came to worse, couldn't I attach chains? Turf for lawn and attach chains prior to other jobs?
*But still cost more in money and labor than R1s.*Chains, and turfs are a great combination since the turf tread keeps the chain up there where it can do some good. Probably the best combination available for winter use especially, and should work pretty well in mud too.
