I was wondering if the 3540 with its extra HP is noisier or has more vibration than the 3240 since they both have basically the same 3 cylinder engine? Is there a downside to the 3540 vs. the 3240 other than just more cost? For that matter, would getting the 4 cylinder engine with the 3940 offer advantages other than the obvious one of more HP?

Welcome to the forum Bandit4. I'm also a new member in Morehead City. I'm buying in Jan. I don't know who you priced with but I'll tell you I bought a Kubota L3400 in 2007 from Nash Equipment in Burgaw and they treated me real well. Planning on the Kioti this time though.
