Any progress report on your decision?
I purchased a subframe mounted backhoe with my 2004 3520. Very easy to remove and not all that hard to mount. Hook the hydraulic lines up when you get close and you can use the outriggers and boom/dipper to bring the mounts to the pins. One issue is having to remove the 3pt arms while the backhoe is mounted. I keep the backhoe mounted most times as I have another tractor for 3pt use. I think, I will explore a longer pin and a second flange which might make it possible to keep the arms on which would make it extremely versatile (provided the 3pt controls are locked down or disabled to prevent movement). I have often experienced buyers remorse, but not with this tractor or backhoe, it's like having a hired hand 24/7 who doesn't ask for much. I highly recommend one.
