Prices at Wal-mart

Personally, I like that.
Yes, I do shop at Wal Mart but prefer my local small hardware store around the corner. I get service there. I still go to the butcher shop to get my steaks and don't mind paying more. I guess it's all about what it is worth it to you. And sometimes, I see a great deal at one of the small business's as was posted earlier.
Here's the difference for me...
When I go out to get something I need (right now), I usually go to the nearest place to me...
When I go out to get something I want, I check the internet for best prices...
When I'm just out shopping around for nothing in particular, I LOVE being in a WallMart or similar store because you never know what you'll see that you suddenly NEED or WANT. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I live in a very small community and selection was small and prices were very high.When Wal Mart came to our area selection went up and prices went down,am I happy , you bet I am,it sure saves me money every week.The rotella t 15 40 your talking about was about $1.00 a gallon higher at the other place and still is.Did Wal Mart coming to town make everyone happy , probably not , but the funny thing is most everyone shops there for at least some of their needs.Just look at your grocery stores they do the same thing as far market strategy goes.

( F.Y.I Just picked up some Rotella (dino) 15w-40 at Wal-mart, $7.68 a Gallon. After Wal-mart went to Tractor Supply (guy store) for some stocking stuffers and the price for Rotella was $7.15 a Gallon. I will not ever assume (****-U-ME) that Wal-mart has the cheapest prices!!!!!!!

Since Wal*Mart says their prices are always falling, you should have walked over to their McDonalds for a cup. Maybe by the time you returned it would have been cheaper. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
