TC30D $13,100

I think the "TC30D" was probably a TC33D /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Other than that, the prices seem very comparable to what I have been quoted in VA - maybe a little high, assuming they were all standard "gear" transmissions, rather than HST.

Prices in your area may not run the same as they do here in Vermont, but the prices on the TC35D and TC40D are within a couple of hundred $ of what I was quoted when I bought a couple of years ago. From what I've seen here, current rices haven't changed much since then. However, I ended up negotiating about $1000+ off of the initial asking price of the TC33D I ended up buying. I assume I could have knocked a similar amount off of the price of a 35D or 40D. If this was the dealer's first price, I'd take a crack at talking him down a bit.

He might have meant TC30 with HST???

I agree: I thought the prices seemed higher than they should be, too.

To me the tractor price is ok, but the loader price seems to be way out of line. Unless it is a Wood's Loader or another aftermarket. I know that I only paid about $2250.00 for my 7308. The 7308 doesn't have some of the lifting capacity that the other aftermarkets have but it still just seems high.

The price on the TC40D may be a little high. I just took delivery on a TC45D with a 16LA FEL. The price for the tractor was $18300 and the FEL was $4000.

Hope this helps.

I think I'd buy it out of town. If the costs were even close, it'd be local. The only one you mentioned that I'm pretty familiar with, is the TC30 and it can be had out of state for thousands less. On a side note, the difference for shipping will be more than offset by the sales tax savings. May want to do some net browsing and give the locals a chance to sharpen their pencils quite a bit. I just prefer to buy from those who start off in the ballpark.

I'm a first time tractor buyer and hope to make a final decision and purchase within the next month. I've kind of been interested in the Kubota L30 Grand Series but wanted to give the competitors a fair shot at gaining my business. Accordingly, today I visited a NH dealership in Northeast Arkansas. Simply stated, my first impression of the equipment was quite positive. After talking with the salesman, we concluded that a TC35D would probably be a good choice for my need. I was quoted the following price for a unit with hydro trans and R4 tires:

NH TC35D - $16,900
16LA LOADER - $3,100

I've got some more research to do before I decide on what to buy. Hopefully these figures will help you!
