I've bought over 20 Kubotas over the past 15 years and I've bought KTAC insurance on three or four of them. If I know I'm keeping them on home property I don't buy KTAC even though it provides much more coverage than my Ky Farm Bureau Insurance homeowners policy. My insurance agent faxes a proof of insurance to Barlows (Kubota dealer) and financing is done. RTVs and tractors that I was using on commercial rental property I bought KTAC. My homeowners will cover the tractor during transport to and from dealer. Most insurance companies also sell what they call a Marine policy which can attach or just be a stand alone policy to cover equipment for a max dollar amount but the last time I checked it was way more than the KTAC with no where near the coverage/protection.
