Best buy price match beware

I gave up on best buy years ago. I purchased 2 items, a hp laptop costing nearly $2500 and a insignia gps unit. Speakers on laptop failed in a few days, and HP Says to return to store. Bestbuy refused warranty on it. Told me to send to HP. Geek squad was more than useless. After months of back and forth i purchased a usb speaker from amazon that solved issue. As for their GPS with lifetime free updates. Bestbuy would not do the updates for free, and there was no place to update it online or thru insignia help line. Their flat out liers.

When it came time to buy a flatscreen, i really wanted a certain SONY i saw on amazon. Went to look at it at bestbuy, but bought it thru amazon. Ill never purchase anything again from bestbuy. Good for window shopping only.

According to the contractor sent to install the TV in addition to cutting stores he says Best Buy is phasing out their Geek Squad department as well.
