Pricing a new 3520 cab TLB!

I didn't like the e-hydro on my old 4310 but that was when they first came out. The response time of the pedals sucked! I drove the 3520 and it was fine, just like my 4300 with a lighter push. The dealer tells me the 375 is the only one you can get on the cab models, and I don't want less dig depth than my 48 hoe. I don't know. I do kinda want a new one and they are giving me pretty good trade on my 4300 tlb (17K trade in) so that helps and I may do the 0 for 48 too. I don't know what to do now, I am kicking around the non-cab too now. looks like a pita to move the tractor around while on the hoe with a cab where as I can just turn around with a stick and push the pedals. Maybe I should sell my 4300 outright and go for more. Trading it is easier though.

Watch out the dealer might want to charge you for zero percent over 48 mos. 36 mos is free.

The 485 is substantially better than the 375. Greater power and depth. Take a look at the specs:

Implements & Accessories - Product Catalog (page 22)

How bad do you want the cab? Apparently I'm the only one on TBN who doesn't want a cab or the big R4's.

I'll take the 485 with a thumb over the cab any day, that's just me I guess.

dieselram,
A 110tlb has a digging depth of 10 ft, you can drive the tractor from the back seat inside the Laurin cab, I am very satisfied with mine.

2010 John Deere 3520 w/ deluxe cab, radio and mid-mount pto.

300CX loader w/ skid steer carrier & 72" HD bucket (from the 110 TLB series) and 3rd. function.

72" mid-mount auto-connect mower.

Rear tires loaded w/ methanol and all 4 wheels turned out.

$34,400.00

This came to a little better than 18% under retail. Best price of 4 dealers.

Tractor does an awesome job mowing grass, pulls a Vermeer 8-wheel V-rake with no trouble, will pick up and load a dry 4X5 round bale with no additional ballast (decent ground though).

Have 30 hrs. on it and love it (A/C is good but on 90ーF + days could be better but sure beats being on an open station).

Looking forward to locating a 451 NH sickle bar for next year and mowing some hay with A/C for a change!

Happy Tractoring

Good luck with it!
What's the width with the tires turned out? I'm thinking of having mine delivered with them out too but am concerned about the 59" blower.

I think your concerns are well founded. Dunno what you got for tires, but with my large R4's set to "narrow" my machine is 60" wide.

Thanks Dave,
I'm not sure what tires I will end up on my 3320 but I switched to the smaller R4's half way through my waiting time after I ordered it. One of the reasons is the narrow blower. The 2x20 series now has an option for a 54" blower along with the 47" one. I hope by the time I need the blower this winter that there will be a larger one offered. There is really no reason why Deere can't give us a bigger front blower. I could go wit hthe rear blower but they aren't half as nice all though they do the job!

I'm starting to look at 3rd party blowers too. By the time you get done buying the 59" blower it's up around 5 grand because you have to buy the front hitch. A lot of companies are starting to make implements for front hitches now which I think is pretty neat so I don't mind buying the front hitch.
What I may have to do is build my own system for a front blower, I did get the mid PTO and 3rd SCV.

Actually, IMO quite the opposite is true, the rear blowers (Frontier) are 3x nicer/better then the front blower Deeres offers. It's well documented here on TBN what I feel about the quality of Deere front blowers (47/54/59). If I was heck bent on a front blower, I'd seriously go buy a Kubota 72" front blower, paint it Yellow and build my own bracketry. All personal preference aside, its an undisputable fact that putting a 59" blower on a machine 60" wide is a joke.

I gotta agree with you Dave. What's going on with that. I may in fact look at the Kubota blower. I think the mid PTO is 2100 rpms. What would be nice is to make it a QA.

I'm a proponent for 3pt blowers...I've only thought about this and never put pencil to paper because I have no need or desire. So do not take what I say as "well Dave said it would work"
BUT, with the Deere front 3pt I see no reason a person couldnt get the Kubota front blower (Built by RAD) onto a Deere assuming the Mid-PTO is +/- the same speed as the Kubota. I'm not overly familiar with the Deere front 3pt setup, but I belive its QA?
In the end, I think you'd be in the same financial ballpark but actually have a real blower out front.
