Price Check Pricing for 2210

I did buy my 2210 in MI, I don't have any complaints so far.
I've only put about 20 hrs. on it mostly plowing snow and playing with the fel. It replaced a 20hp simplicity Legacy garden tractor. So comparitively the 2210 feels like a bulldozer. I grew up working on the farm running tractors
up to 150hp. so everything is relative. I did pull my dodge
1 ton pickup up my very steep drive into the garage when
it failed to start this winter at -10F. By the way the tractor
had been outside for 2 days due to another project in the
shop and it fired right up. I was going to buy a 2230 but I'm
6'4" tall and the Kubota felt very cramped and the combo foward/backward pedal seemed akward. I looked at the Case/New Holland machines but the best price I could find was
500 more than the deere. In the end I picked the deere because it was the most comfortable for me, and because of the quick attach bucket. I have a loader mounted snow plow
and I can switch back and forth in about 1 min. I haven't used
the mower but it was attached when I got it and I had it off the tractor in less than 1 min. really. Also the loader will actually pick up about 1000 pounds. This was better than I expected. I just finished making a 600 lb. weight for the 3pt.
I originally figured that with loaded tires and a 200 lb. back blade I would be fine, but it will pick the back tires up. Hope this helps with your search.

For your reference: I just took delivery of a JD 2210 with FEL, 62" MM, 72" RB (WorkSaver), LX4 Cutter, 2048 BB (Frontier), and filled R4s for $14864.00. I can't wait to get some seat time!

If you are interested, I can "hook" you up with a CT dealer, but service from long distance becomes a factor. I'd take the best of what was posted back to the dealer you thought the most of, and let them know where it all lies. Mention orange and blue as well. I would think an atitude adjustment would swiftly follow. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I can't believe some of the prices you folks are pulling in around the country. I wonder if the high cost of living in the Seacoast area is playing a part. Supposedly, Seacoast NH is on the top ten least affordable places in the US behind 9 CA cities. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Are the prices you all are posting close to the first price the dealer gave you? I highly doubt that I can talk the dealers down $1000+ dollars.
One strategy my friend and I have is that we are both looking to buy the same tractor at the same time. This usually perks dealers interest when we mention it.

Hmm, I just got quoted $15,100 for:
2210 ($9800), FEL ($2300), 62C MMM ($1800), LX4 cutter ($1200) in Northern Va. -- First dealer quote, I'm in the midst of calling around.
