You won’t get much for a broken 2wd, geared, no FEL tractor if you try to sell it as is. Buyers will lowball you, figuring the worst case scenario for repairs.
I would bite the bullet and repair it, but before taking it to the dealer, I would see if an independent shop might be a bit cheaper.
When you get the tractor back, you can sell it for a better price, or keep it and continue working.
