Price Check Pricing on B2910HST

Here it goes, my first post...

Pricing out B2910HST with :

R4's / Fixed ROPs

FEL LA402FL
60" Belly Mower RCK60-27B
Front Mount Snoblower B2771
Post Hole Digger BEFCO 200-512

Local Delaware dealer gave me quote of $23037 for the package. What do you guys think. This is our first time buying a tractor. We are selling / trading our JD 650 2WD that came with our property here in SE PA.

We have 16 acres mostly pasture, some walnut trees and hills. Plan on starting vinyard next year and hence the need for more power 4wd etc... Decided on 2910 over 3010 due to weight / mowing needs.

Any info would be greatly apprecited. This web site is excellent!

Would the price that was given also include the sale tax..if there a sale tax maybe the dealer can sharpen his pencil a tad more.

Tony, I just purchased a 2910 with loader(60") and backhoe for 22,250 (actually) I`m waiting for it to be shipped in to the dealer. loaded r4`s also. I dont have the slip in front of me and I dont remember the breakdown for each item

Thanks for the quick replies. The quote I received does not include sales tax (there is none in DE

)). How much does the BH normally run, for comparison purposes?

Who did you go to in DE, Hoobers or Burke? I just bought a 3010 from Andy over at Burke and he gave me a great price. They were very helpful and delivery was free to MD(about an hour and a half away). Might as well try giving him a call and see if he can beat your current price.

I was really close to getting a 2910 but after driving both I just felt more comfotable on the 3010. Price he quoted me for the 2910 w/HST and R4's was 13,500.

Hi Ed,

It was Burke on rte 40 in DE. Out of all the dealers in my area, they seem to have the best prices, and best attitude. The Salesman I'm working with is Eric.

That's great! What I heard from the mechanic that dropped my tractor off was that the dealership was just bought out recently (I think the new owners name is Mark Babbit) and he is really trying to build up service and sales.

From my experience, he's going about it the right way! Young knowledgeable salespeople who are interested in selling tractors not playing money games.

Good luck with your purchase! If you can afford it, try driving a 3010 its a lot more tractor for not that much more money.
