Price Check Pricing on new GL3830?

Have been watching this forum for several days ramping up to possible purchase of a new tractor. Looking at a new GL3830, HST with LA723 fel. Also included is the quick attach bucket (skid loader style), 1 set of rear hydralic outlets, front blade (attached to frame , not the loader arms), and a woods 72" rear discharge mower. Drove the tractor yesterday and was "shocked" at how easy it was to operate and how smooth it ran, steered, and handled (compared with teo Farmall H's and a W4). Anyway, my dealer is looking for $22,670 for the whole setup delivered to the barn. Would appreciate any comments or thoughts. Our dealer is excellent and very local. Thanks for any info.

You will regret the frame mounted front blade. I have a snowblower, frame mount and had a blade on that. Just changed the blade to a quick mount on the FEL. I will never put on or use that blower again. Just too big of a pain switching from frame mount equipment to the FEL and then back again.

Hi Walol,

I have a L3130 with a fel and it handles better than my old 140 Farmall and it should because I could buy four or five old 140 Farmalls in fine condition for what the L3130 cost.

the 3130 reqiure very little maint for the next few years or would you rather maintain all those Farmall's.

To mcuh for my area. My 4330 with cab and air wasn't that much. I have no rear outlets and didn't get a mower. I have r 4 tires....I think that a little to much. jmho teddy

That's why you have a plow on the front and a blower on the back /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif No piles of snow in your driveway / yard and a scraped clean driveway.
