Price Check Pricing Question

I am looking at a Massey 1428V HST, 4WD, 60" RMM, 60" Front Snow Plow.

THe price that I got was

Tractor $12,500
KK 60" $ 1,100
Snow Plow incl.Hydraulics $ 2,500

Total $16,100

Is this a good price or am I getiing stiffed. I do not claim to be a tractor guy nor do I know what the **** I am talking about. I just do not want to be a fish out of water.

Kozmo38, Hello and welcome to TBN , Your price check is in line for a Hydro trans ,possibly might be able to get it a little cheaper but not much ! The price of steel going up and all, My brother in law got a turf tired 1428v w/geared trans for $10k a year ago but the hydro trans is an expensive option but worth it in most cases... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Should I assume your not going to use it for all 30 acres of your property? Because I might want a little bigger unit if it was going to maintain that much property. Funny thing about the CUT's is the bigger you go the higher the ratio of dollar to value you seem to get, Did you ask him about a 1433v for comparison? Just curious sort of taking my own pole here...
