Problem with FEL joystick

My joystick will not move to the right (723FEL). So...bucket will go up, down, and I can roll the bucket back but not down. It's not that it will move to the right and nothing happens - it won't move to the right. It's been cold (teens) for the past few days. Any ideas???

Just shooting from the hip, try disconnecting the hoses and reconnecting.

Mine did a similar thing on the up and down, not the curl. It was ice in the detent thingy. Look on bottom of the joystick. There should be two large hex things, 1-3" long. Unscrew them (no oil will come out) and look inside. If you see rusty colored junk in one, that is the one with condensation inside, which freezes. Dealer told me to drill a 1/16" hole in bottom for water to run out. I did that, warmed it up, sprayed carb cleaner in there, then compressed air (repeat several times) to get out the water polluted grease, sprayed aerosol lithium grease in there, and voila! No prollems since, even in -18F temps. Might be your prollem.

Be very careful taking the caps off. Some of the valves have very small bearings in them that can get lost easily.

I had a similar problem on my B7100HSt loader last month. It would go up but not down. The curl function worked well.

I just let the tractor warm up and then cycled the curl to warm up the control block. Took a couple of minutes and then all the joystick functions worked. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
