There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are very, very few old bold pilots. And they get scarcer every day.

Robert, this picture gives me a little "pause" because I found two loose bolts on my TC-45D front end a few weeks back and posted about it. More recently, Farmicist posted about the same thing on his TC-35D in this forum. This photo looks like it may just happen on bigger tractors too. I'll have to check again, but I don't think the attaching bolts have lockwashers. I'm gonna check my tractor again after seeing your post.

looks to me like it might have been involved in an accident with some type of motor vehicle. That happened here this summer to a farmer he was almost killed car hit him when he was traveling down the road and blew the front end right out from under the tractor.

I have a different theory. This is a TBN member who was trying to emulate Mark Chalkley. Those are probably Mark's famous Michelin XM 27 tires, which according to Mark have near-infinite traction. The poor Blue owner, however, didn't know how to properly match the rolling circumferences of the tires to the front/back gear ratio. Therefore, the front tires rotated too fast compared the the back wheels, and what you see is what Mark has asserted does not exist: a symptom of too much traction.
