The person that I purchased the property from is not related to the other 3.

He was simply one of the heirs.

This was a private sale. No agents & no real estate brokers. He said he would only sale to me. If I wasn't interested he would keep the land.

As far as fences by KY LAW property owners are required to build &/or help maintain the fence. When looking at the property line each property owner is responsible for maintaining the fence to the right of the center of that line.

Only one of the other 3 is an adjoining land owner to me.

We have State fence Laws,but you will never get anybody to enforce them.If you want fence,you have to do it yourself.

That doesnt matter! They should have asked your wife is she wanted to file charges!

Warranty deed. Did a normal full closing with a title search through an attorney. Everything checked out. This property has only changed hands 3 times since 1927.

Exactly right...Sorry , I just can't get past someone being allowed to do that to another's wife and suffer no consequences - So the cops said they did not see it...then the OP and his wife cold go see the DA and ask to sign a warrant for assault and battery...attempted murder or whatever....Me , I would have my time with whoever did such a thing to my wife....some things you just don't let go..but that is just me...

I'm not worried...I never post anything I would not say to someone's face or a judge and jury...I'll say it in a blanket statement....If someone ever threatens my life or the life of my family I will use the force necessary to stop the threat.

When they did this and got away with it, it further empowered them. At the minimum, keep a log, including date and time and what happened, just the facts.

It doesn't sound like they care for him much more than the OP and just because they're all heirs doesn't mean they like each other, let alone know each other. In fact, you really want to cause a ruckus, get inheritance involved.

I may have missed it, but was the survey done before or after the purchase. If it was done before and turns out to be incorrect, then there may be an avenue. Getting an indisputable survey is the first step.

Survey was done 2 years before I bought it. The 50 something year old mother was actually the executrix of the estate and chose the surveyor. She now claims the surveyor didn't finish/do the survey correctly & that it is no good. She even went so far as to record the survey with county pva as soon as it was finished.
