Just completed this. Guess what it is & what it is for. Base is 10' X 10', 8' high up to base of hook. Good luck.
Will post in-use photo soon.

Judging by the hook on the top, it looks to be some sort of lift. You live near a cliff or something? ;)

Nice truck! Don't see that colour very often.

Hanging from the hook on the top, you've built a dangling participle.

Just hang tractors and you've got a big chime.

When I first looked at it thought cupola as well, then took another look and agree this is a lift or stand of some sort like phiferfarm indicated..

Maybe an electric winch up in a tree and this is the platform? Seems the sides are too low if there was a roof going on it to see out tho..

Whatever it is, let us know if it works, and how well it does its intended task.

Here is a photo of the item in transit to its final location. It is complete as you see it, except for the rubber floor mats. In-use photo coming tomorrow.

We have to keep a sharp look out around here. If they are not feed regularly they get ornery.

Well, the fun's over. You guessed it correctly, Bullbreaker! Too many savvy posters on this forum.
We wanted a hay feeder that the horses wouldn't move, but that we could, when necessary. They have a way of messing up the areas where they congregate.
Here is an "in-use" photo of the "pterodactyls" feeding.
