Brilliant! Well just conveniently ignore the fact that Californians are still breathing the same air as Nevada, Oregon, and Arizona.

You could say California basically wrote the book on emissions with several other states adopting California’s requirements…

“As goes California, so does the nation,” or something of that sort. It’s true, and not always bad for the rest of us, as Californians frequently pay the larger cost of these often-inevitable new burdens. I’m just glad I don’t live there.

Remember, the Bay area is a lot cooler than many other places. Wearing a respirator mask in 100 degree heat might be rather uncomfortable.
