Pronovost dealers in New England area?

Wondering if anybody knows of any Pronovost dealers in the
New England area. I have been thinking off and on about buying one of their dump trailers and can't seem to find anybody who carries them in New England.

Chappell Tractor in Milford and Brentwood are Pronovost dealers. I have never seen one of the dump trailers on their lot but they do have the literature in the rack. They are also a Pronovost snowblower dealer.

Lloyds Trailer Sales just opposite Chappell on Route 101 in Milford sells dump trailers. Not sure on the manufacturer though.

I picked up a Pronovost brochure up at the Milford store - but apparently they are no longer a dealer. I called them afterwards to try and get some pricing and they said they no longer deal in Pronovost - they are carrying another mfr. now whose name escapes me at the moment. I did some searching on the web and found a dealer named Hawkensen Equipment up in Meredith that is a Pronovost dealer - we'll see how that one works out.

There's a guy up here in Old Town, Maine that carries the snowblowers. Don't think he carries the trailers though. PM me and I can give you his contact info if you'd like. Sounds like you've got a lead to work with....

Jim - I would call Hawkenson before you go up to Meredith. The Meredith store is a small sattelite without much inventory (normally) with Hawkenson's main shop in Plymouth (might actually be in Rumney) about 3 or 4 miles off exit 26 on 93. They have a lot more inventory there. Last year when I was shopping snowblowers, they only had Blizzard, which I thought Chappell had also gone to. I believe Keat's (New Holland) in Keene was a Pronovost dealer.

i don't remember seeing any dump trailers there.

Thanks for the info everybody - I still haven't made my mind up yet whether I really want , or need to get a dump trailer. I liked the Pronovost P503H because it is small enough to be used with my BX23 but it is still a road worthy trailer so I could tow it behind a small truck. I already got a reply back from one place in Wareham MA that actually has one in stock - figured I would call around to a few other places to see what kinds of pricing I can get.

Lloyds Trailer Sales in Milford (corner of rte 101 and rte 13) has dump trailerrs in stock. I drive by there every day and I saw them in the lot. You might want to see what brand he carries and compare that to the Pronovost.

Thanks - I have to make a run up to Chappell's today - I will stop in at Lloyds while I am up there. I have found a couple of dealers that carry the Pronovost trailers - one of them has a P503H in stock so at least I know I can get one around here. Now I really have to decide if I need one and will have a real use for it.

I have a pronovost tandem axle dump trailer and we got it through hammond and tilton tractor in fairfield, Me. I think they are now called hammond tractor (John Deere) dealer lol but don't let that put you off.
