You're not alone, I'm also looking for propane generator, some places around here had no power for 48 hours, which for me means no water too. I also heat with propane, so I've got 500 gallons (well somewhat less) of fuel that isn't 'stale'. Honda makes a very nice propane ready unit, but it's very pricey.
