Yikes!

My tractors a tad to expensive to take the roulette chance by adding used oil to the fuel.. especially since there are sooo many places that'l take the old oil for free...

We change oil to get rid of waste products .. ones that have acids, abrasive soots, and heavy metals... Why would i want to put them back in my engine after getting rid of them in the oil??

Couldn't agree more Soundguy. You will do more damage to your engine than good by burning waste (used) oil mixed in your fuel. Unless you are filtering to levels lower than 0.2 micron you are causing wear to the internal parts of the injection pump and injectors. Injectors have extremely tight tollerances and all the junk that is suspended in the waste oil will do nothing but cause internal deposits and wear which lead to decreased performance and life. If you want to add lubricity, use a fuel additive.

Any recycle place (locally, it's our auto supply stores) can take any and all your oils: transmission oil, engine oil, hydraulic oil, synthetic, gear oil. It'll all get filtered and redistilled and probably hydrofinished. It'll all be distilled into the proper grades again. Or, they may just burn it at the recycling place that it is sent to.

Cummins used to sell a centrifuge, you'd spin out your drain oil dump it in the fuel tank,and were supposed to be able to burn it in your engine.

we tried it a few times and ended up with some serious exhaust smoke problems.
