Not familiar with disc mowers

You'll want allot of tractor for a disc mower. The JD 5105 wouldn't run it well, so we moved it to the 4020...

I would not recommend a CUT to operate your NH 68 baler w/motor. The CUTs are just too light, especially if you have hills. I use an Allis Chalmers WD45 (45 HP and 5000 lbs) on fairly level land. On hills you should have an even larger tractor to operate safely, especially if you tow the hay wagon behind the baler.

CUTs are wonderful tractors, but they are not designed to do traditional farm work.

Thanks all;
Nice to see cooperation on this board rather than the soap opera going on with MF discussion. Very helpful advice from savvy readers. I've decided therefore to hold on to my MF50C backhoe w/loader, NewHolland baler, IH140 w/sickle bar mower. I will however look to purchase a smaller CUT that I can maneuver around without breaking tree branches or needing 40 acres to turn around. Heading for Bolton soon............Papafarmer
