Protective Cab Screen

Trying to locate info on a Protective Screen to attach to the backside of the ROPS on a Kubota L3130. Any ideas? Had some wood nail me 2 years ago when cutting +2" alder brush with my TO-20 and Bush Hog. Also read on this site where someone was speared thru the back - got me to thinking.

Have you thought about expanded metal welded onto an angle iron frame which in turn can be bolted to the ROPS. A shop should not have any trouble fabing something up.

Its a great protection idea for more than just backing into branches.

Thanks all for the info. Believe I'll go your route Egon and have something fabricated, that can be removed if neccessary. Have something similar welded to the home-made ROPS on my old AC H3 crawler.

I looked at a NH TC55 that had a screen on the back. I found out the screen is a option to keep the flying dangers away from you when mowing. It had a light frame and expanded metal, that bolted to the ROPS.

I have one in my shop i built out of 1/2 "expanded metal and a angle iron frame. i even built the mount for the ROPS but just havent finished it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
