They are getting big and I thought that you would like to see them eat their first meal. This is the first time that I didn't have pups walking in the food first and eating last.

They are now 9 weeks old and 3 of the 7 have already gone to new homes. If the last four don't go soon, I will be looking for a recipe for dachshund pie!! This is the same pup as in all the other photos and she (originally called a "he") is the runt of the litter. Also the most lovable one .... I want to keep her, but the wife says no!!! Here she is checking out the laundry....

Absolutely adorable /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif And therein lies the problem. That is why I could never breed dogs. I could never part with any of them. We have irish wolfhounds. Can you imagine having 7 of them running around /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Those are some really great looking pictures Junkman! We have two female Shih-Tzu (I pronounce ****-zu) dogs and we can't breed them either. If we did we would be stuck with all the pups forever. Mom and I are both softies when it comes to animals of all sorts.

Did you see the story on FOX about the dashhound that saved it's owners by barking until they woke up--the house was on fire, the other two dogs split /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. I assume they are all back together again and safe. J
