no advise on useing a driveway scraper, but i do own a rear blade and maintained 400' of drive that grew green stuff in the center. I kept mine crowned well as i had deep ditches on either side of mine (my drive sat about 1' above the surrounding ground). I used a HD rear blade and found it easy to maintain. I usually ran a heavy pass right down the middle cutting off 2" and pushing the material to both sides (straight cut) This means i bunch up a lot of dirt/sod/grass/gravel at the end of the run. id make 2 passes down and back across the middle and spread out the chunky material at the end of my drive were i needed it. Then a pass down the right and left side dragging material back to the middle and wind rowing it, then a finnal pass down the middle to smooth out the windrow.

in a couple of weeks when the chunky grass died off and the dirt was washed out, id often re-grade that area to reclaim the gravel.

i could cut the above steps in half if i sprayed first and waited for the grass to die off.

WOW! This is incredible information, thank you much to all of you. I will try ever thing suggested; I did tweak on the the speed issue yesterday, and it does make a difference. Yes, gravel poses no problem, the grader is great for that. Maybe RoundUp will have to do; I can attach a small sprayer to my B7400, an extra step for sure. I'll keep trying.

Ive never used a grader yet that sod wasnt a problem, Like others have posted, Round Up is the best way to deal with it, Yes it takes 2-3 weeks to help much, {depending on tempeture} maybe longer. One of the most usefull driveway tools is the sprayer, If sod gets a foot hold. Another tool I use when dealing with sod is the landscape rake, It helps to work the gravel out of the sod, higher speed really works the sod clumps over, If you have the gauge wheels, it works even better, setting the teeth just above the grade. But nothing works good unless its dry,. as far as the sod clumps go.
One thing I know for sure is,. You need to either spray or grade, to stay ahead of the sod clump problem.

You can try raising your blades above the skids so the grass can go under the blades where the tires have pushed the ground lower. The grass will break up with enough passes.
