I agree but when talking about LC20 all oils can benefit from it. Just go over to BITOG and look. Redline, Amsoil, GC, etc can all perform better if using LC.

The only adds I like are AutoRx and LC20 for oil and FP60 for fuel.

I personally think it would be overkill. I have always wondered about additives that pronounce "if nothing bad happens, it must have done its job." Some fuel additives help some with mileage, temperature of operation, etc., but I just never have been able to duplicate the visual evidence with this type additive. I do use, and like, the PS fuel additive, so I think it is a good company.

I Use LC-20 but realistically motor oils today are far superior to what they were and really don't need any help from aftermarket additives and most are just a waste of money or do more harm than good by throwing the additive package out of balance, If you keep up with the manufacters PM schedule your doing good.

Agreed, but oil(any kind) does break down no matter the add package in them. I am not pimping LC20 here but when Terry, owner of Dyson Anlsysis likes it (and recommends it)….Give you something to think about.

1. Lc20 lowers the cf in oils.
2. Cleans rings packs
3. Keeps oxidation inline.
4. reduces wear while cleaning carbon
5. Cleans varnish

All these things are not able to be done with any oil out there; dino, synthetic or HDEO.

Lastly, if you look at the MSDS and VOA of Lube extender it contains certain di-esters and other stuff; which can polymerize to form a nice thick goo, especially in the mornings when cooled. I would not add it (lube extender) to my oil
