pt 425 Hydraulic oil?

What oil is currently recommended for the pt 425? When I bought my 1425 in 1994 they said to use 5w30. What difference does it make if I use different oils. Will a change increase some performance and decrease other aspects?What wheight oils if any are most resistant to overheating in the summer? Most of my tractor problems have occured when brushhogging my overgrown field in intense summer heat. Are there any other improvements I can make to keep the oil cooler when abusing the tractor like I tend to do?
With a newly rebuilt pump and soon new wheel motors I would like to protect my investment.

Many great experiences, suggestions, pointers for different pt models are there and the suggestions for and against using various synthetic oils.

if afterwards you are still unhappy what you found, i would be glad to go into more detail, if that is needed.
