PT-425's in Chicago or NW Indiana?

PT-425\'s in Chicago or NW Indiana?

Hello everyone.

After months of reading posts here on TBN my wife thinks she has decided on getting a PT-425 to start up a small Nursery on our 10 acres and to do small landscaping jobs for people in our subdivision (where our house is).

The only problem she has left is shelling out $20K + for a machine and attachements that she has never seen.

So are there any PT-425 owners in Chicago or NW Indiana who would be willing to talk to her and show her their machine?

We have been to MossRoad's web site (great videos by the way!) All she could say after seeing the brush cutter take out the big rose bush was "Oh yes baby!" and that was what finally convinced her to consider the PT. Up until then she was set on getting an ASV RC-30 or RC-50.

My jobs for the PT will be to clear off our over grown 10 acres of old farm land and get it ready for her to start planting things, put in two driveway culverts and 300+ feet of driveways.

Her main use will be to dig and plant things on the property and to do general small landscaping jobs.

Planter Auger Head with 12", 18" and 30" Augers
Power Rake w/ Wheel Kit
Mini-Hoe
Brush Cutter
Potato Digger

Would you have a need for a snow blade?

This is a machine your wife will fall in love with. My wife tried many CUT's and all felt intimidating until she got on a 425.

There is also a professional landscaper in South Bend that has three of the four hundred series units and a 1430. You may want to contact them to get a professional's opinion of what the machine will and will not do. I can give you their number. You are probably too far away to be of any competition to them, so they may be helpful. PM me if you want their number.

The only attachments that I have on your list are the large bucket, brush cutter and forks.

Sorry I have not been on in a long time - I live in Gridley Illinois, about an hour south of Joliet. I have a 422 and my Landscaper in the next town over has a 425. We share some attachments and both are extremely happy with the units. If you still need to see one, we could probably work something out
