Oh yes, I have been working it's little bars off!! 65 hours since 2/4 with no grass or snow.
But, by thoroughly cleaning and maintaining it weekly, and after messy jobs, I hope to keep it nice for as long as possible! At the end of each use I go over it with my electric leaf blower which effectively removes 90% of the dirt, dust, and debris without the negatives associated with water. The blower keeps the engine and hydraulic coolers clean for better cooling, it's the best way to easily lift the junk out of the footwells and wheel motors, and it only takes 2 or 3 minutes!!
My motto is: "Preserve it, don't restore it!" If you properly take care of your equipment, there should be no need to do a restoration in the future. When I hear of an old car or tractor being 'restored', I wish instead that it had been properly preserved by owners who cared!
On my Power King, which is 28 years old, I use an SMV sign, and an amber fog light for warning by day plus rearward illumination by night.
