I have been wondering about my seat. I don't want a suspension seat because i do not want that much height( I am also cheap). Any way the seat is in good enough shape except the bottom cusion that you sit on. Does anyone know where to get one of these or a suitable replacement. I am also interested in a retractable seat belt. Anyone have success with that?

Have you looked at Lowes or Home Depot or Tractor Supply? If you don't want to get a new seat maybe a lawn mower repair shop might have a used one. I wanted to get my wife a new seat for her tractor but instead she just got a seat cover at lowes.

Two ideas.

Go to a wheelchair shop and get a pad. Those are pretty amazing and pretty thin (but not cheap).

Also, retractables will get dirt in them and that will be that. Stick with the old fashion kind.

I have had retractable ones for 2 years with no problems. But I bet Carl just jinxed me.

Since I am the primary driver of my PT and I have all that left over seat belt material, I just buckled myself in, adjusted the belt and then just rolled up the rest of it. I got a nice zip tie and threaded through the center of the belt and wrapped it around and zipped it up. So the rest of the belt is there if I need it but for now it is out of the way and don't rub or dangle on the back tire.
