I don't know what kind of fellow Power-trac owners live near you. BobRip would never call any of us near him because we would just drink his bear and laugh at him trying to get his tractor out of the swamp.

I have the bar (ag )tires. The between bars area is so filled with mud that I don't think there would be much difference. Just an opinion.

I did not use up all of my swamp. Feel free to bring your PT over and get it stuck. We could have a contest!!
Prizes for:
Highest mud up the canopy.
Fastest getting unstuck with the tools you carry on board.
Most mud weight gained.
Most damage getting unstuck.
Some how it's not so funny when the creek is rising and you are still stuck. Well actually the creek was not rising but it was starting to rain again
I usually leave the engine running because it easier to get an engine running if its already running. I used to own a Rambler and the starter did not work very well if the engine was hot.
Take care, but not all of it.

Have you considered the 5 ton winch that PT has or another brand winch, electric or hydraulic. Just might come in handy if you are going to play in the swamp. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have seriously considered the PT winch. It is now down to two tons. I think somebody pulled their PT in two with the 5 ton so PT down sized it. The schedule is to purchase it next year. Actually I do have a small electric winch, I just like the challenge of the comealong.
