I discovered Fusion blades last year from Oregon and highly recommend them. I'm amazed at how long they stay sharp and the quality of the cut I'm getting out of them. Bahia grass is my native grass and it's all stalks, which is the worse thing for wearing off the edge of a blade. I tried Bahia blades, which worked great, but went dull pretty quickly.

My rear finish mower is about ready for new blades and I'm hoping that I can find some Fusion blades for it when I decide to buy!!!

Have been on the road with FFA kids, great time.
You sure have a great attitude and perspective on life. Yes, family is most important and you sure have built a solid foundation.
For the time being will you put your plans on hold with your other property?

Yep. Kids first. Dad's toys later.
I still get out there as much as possible. I went out to the place two week ago, walked around, found a 12" sucker dying in the creek, an apparent victim of a bird of prey. Huge claw marks in its back. Dug up 3-400 double daffodils to take home and ran 50 shots through an old 9-shot Hi Standard revolver just for fun... the cans never stood a chance!
Perhaps when Emily starts college we'll re-visit building a house out there, but we're fixing up our current house for now.

Home prices in our neighborhood tanked. A house down the block is on the market for $15K and no one will buy it. Good grief!

But our house is warm and dry, paid for, and the neighorhood is safe and quiet (if you don't mind the airplanes!).

FFA Kids are pretty fun. I have a friend who was in FFA and his daughter is too. She's in vet school in OK now. Its a good experience for young folks and us older folks, too. Makes you have some faith in the youth. :)

I'd have to find one with a 3/8" center hole, and can't seem to find that.
