How do you turn on the PTO? By flicking a switch or pressing a clutch pedal?
According to Tractordata, that tractor was made by TYM and I believe you engage the PTO using a switch.
That means you have a clutch pack inside the transmission for the PTO, instead of a dry clutch inside of the bellhousing.
It can be a couple of problems. Either the spool on the PTO valve is not travelling the full stroke or for some reason the pressure on the clutch pack is not right and it's slipping.
Was it a sudden or gradual issue?
