Zetor C42L
This is my first post on this forum. I just purchased a 2005 Zetor C42L. From what I have read it is the same as a Branson 4220 aside from the FEL.
The machine is in great condition and everything seems to work properly except the second stage on the clutch. When the clutch is pressed all the way down and everything in neutral the PTO will grind if I try to engage it. If I turn the adjuster on the clutch linkage Out to lengthen it the PTO will engage and disengage as it should but the clutch for the transmission slips. It seems as though there’s too much through between first and second stage on the clutch.
As of right now, I currently have the linkage adjusted to half of inch of Slack on the pedal so I don’t damage the clutch.
I’m hoping there is a way to adjust the second stage on the clutch. Any help would be great
Thanks
