Matter of perspective I guess. But I don't think you can sell that argument to the guys that get pushed downhill by their spinning rotary cutter blades. The ones that haven't installed ORCs that is.

Its a matter of physics. Regardless of the mechanical disadvantage there is still a lot of energy stored in those blades. If you dont decouple it it still pushes in some of the older tractors. The brakes have enuf problem just dealing with gravity on the incline much less having to stall a big flywheel going 700RPM.
