Generator PTO driven generator

/ PTO driven generator #21
I was thinking about the Tiger 10kW but my BX24 only puts about 17HP to the rear PTO and in the spect the Tiger says "Minimum 18-20 PTO HP." Is it terrible to have too little power for a generator or will you just get less power output from it?

That depends what all you are going to run, my Shanty is a 2 story farm house with a apartment on one side of the house where my father lives, 4 zone hot water heat, 220 a/c, 3 refrig, 1freezer, 2 stoves and ovens, well pump3/4hp, a garage that is 36x48x12high that has oil furance plus auto lift and air compresser all 220, I have it wired to run it all. and it does very well. acohen100 you only need to hook up what you need to run now and maybe later the wife a give you a p.o. for a larger tractor. :) my tractor is 25-26 hp and 20 at pto doesn't work hard at all rpms around 21-2200.
