PTO Driven Water Pump?

Hi, all-

I'm having trouble finding PTO driven water pumps that mount to the 3 point hitch. I found this one at Northern Tool (actually, would that thing connect to the 3 point hitch?...) but it only provides 20 GPM and I was hoping to at least double that.

What I want is something I can connect to my water storage tank and use for firefighting purposes. (The pump on my well puts out 35 GPM which is pretty good out of a garden hose (or two), but I'm thinking more would be better.)

I've found some funky looking pumps that look very specialized, but what I really want is something like the one at Northern Tool only BIGGER.

The auxiliary pump on our "brush truck" puts out almost 100 plus gallons per minute to two 1.5 inch hoses. If we are drafting or feeding from a tanker we can fight small fires but if not, we are going to run out very quickly. Can you say air tanker?

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!

The Kifco D2/40 looks like it might be perfect. How do you size these things? The D2/40 says it will squirt 150 GPM at 133 PSI and 21HP. Will this work with my BX23? It has a 21HP motor, but does that translate to 21HP at the PTO?

They do. They also start with fuel reduction. But I have a 12,500 gallon water tank sitting next to my house (thanks to the fire department, and believe me I'm not complaining) that I want to be able to tap into. Just as an alternative...

firefighting what? in case your house starts on fire?
