Pto gauge reads pto off with pto engaged l4330

I'm trying to track down an issue with my pto gauge not reading when the pto is engaged.
It was intermittent for a while and now doesn't work at all. One other problem is that the seat kill switch doesn't kill the tractor with the pto engaged. I've checked the seat switch and it appears to be working correctly with my ohm meter.

Any help would on were to start would be greatly appreciated.

Per Workshop Manual switch is attached to PTO shift lever next to right side of seat and sends 12v signal to light up lamp when PTO is used and serves as safety switch when engine is started.

Yep, there is a sensing switch attached to the PTO lever. The switch is not sensing the true position of the lever. Thus causing the problem of both incorrect info on intellipanel and the failure to kill tractor when seat switch engaged.

Your problem is that the switch is either faulty or not positioned to properly sense the true position of the PTO lever. Replace/adjust switch as required.

Right off Id stop paying attention to that gauge.

The PTO light on the Hurlimann is on when it should be off.

I'm sure it's a two function switch, with terminals for both NC and NO. It must be wired bass ackwards.

I'ld get in there and reconnect things, but it's a long ways in. Likely a 3 hour job, by the time all the botched up fasteners are delt with.

I've sort of gotten used to it this way. Fortunately, the start defeat system doesn't work either ;-)
