Generator PTO Generator

I too am in the market for a PTO genset in the 10-15kW range. There is a used 13kW Winco at a local dealer but it's pretty old and they don't know how if it works for $600. I may just go with a new one.

Jim,

First, a little late but, welcome to TBN.

I would be very interested to know what, if anything you've found for a genny for your 2010. Also, what your PTO HP rating is and how it matches up with what you have looked at, or purchased (i.e. PTO HP 2x genny kW, 2.5x, 3x...?)

As I don't want to hijack your thread, I will post my own as there are questions I have that I have not found in the threads I have searched on.

Don't know much about PTO generators,but,i do have a diesel motor with a 13,000k VoltMaster generator,made in the USA. I've had this set up for 5 years and i'm completely satisfide.

Pretty sure Voltmaster is what Northern sells.

Check Shimon's links, above. NorthStar(tm) are NorthernTool's PTO Generators. I have no idea if this is an O.E.M. of VoltMaster or, an entirely different manufacturer.
