Disconnect the cable and put a jumper wire in it to override when you need to run the genset. Probably a good idea to hook it back up when using the tractor for rolling though, as you would want it to stop if you get knocked off or roll over.

Thanx for the idea. The switch I installed on the dash is the same concept but all I have to do is flip the switch to the closed position when it is time to run the gen and then when I am done just flip the switch and all is normal.

Sorry, maybe I missed that. That's a better idea, but for those who don't or can't do that switch work, a jumper works fine.
