PTO help

I just picked up a finish mower and have never seen this PTO coupling before. The collar does not move as far as I can tell so I am not sure how it locks on or unlocks from the tractor. I am hoping that someone out there can tell me how this works. Thanks, Gary

If the collar doesn't move forward or backward, it should twist. I would put some penetrant around the locking balls and the snap ring, then tap around on the rubber collar to try and free it up.

pics are to blurry to even get a name off the coupler to google it. my bet, it twists but based on the look ot of it, its going to need to be dissembled and cleaned/rebuilt for it to work. again the name end of the black plastic should lead you to instructions for it on the web.

Thanks, It was attached to the tractor when I bought it and cam right off. I am going to the farm this weekend and plan to take it down. I have not tried to hook it to my 1510 yet. I was not sure how it operates. on the side it says made in Italy, 240002406. The shaft is Bondioli & Pavesi and it came on a King Kutter FM 60. Do you think it twists to lock once on the shaft?

Thanks Gene. I am going to hook it up this weekend. I have never seen this type. I makes sense that it would twist though no that I look at it. I did some checking on the internet and it may be called a QD SAFETY YOKE. Thanks again for the help.
