Duh......ya I plumb forgot the 870 Case tractor. Hesstons in the 680,780,70-90,80-90 would work too. Now also I only mention ones available with cabs,if you don't want a cab you have more optionsof tractors to pick from.

Plus remember the most important thing about the Mrs.......she puts up with you!!!

My experiences are with smaller equipment than you are considering, but there may be some common ground. I have two tractors and three mowers. The tractors are a Ford 1210 and a Kubota B7500. Both are HST. The Ford is 16HP and the Kubota is 20. Mowers are all 5 footers - Caroni RFM, Landpride RFM and King Kutter rotary.

The Ford will handle the Caroni easily, as long as I keep the two suitcase weights on it. The Landpride is too heavy. It handles the tractor rather than the other way around. I wouldn't even consider hooking the Ford to the King Kutter.

The Kubota handles the heavier Landpride with ease, and pulls the Caroni like it's not even there.

I use the King Kutter about 3 hours per year, and take it easy when I do use it. It is a bit large for the Kubota. I need to have the FEL on the 'Bota to improve handling when using it. The FEL comes in handy when using the KK anyhow. There's usually some junk that needs rearranged when I'm "hoggin"...............chim
