Tiller PTO install help needed

I need some help understanding the manual regarding cutting the pto link from my woods tiller to my bx24 tractor. I got lost when I tried to marry the info in the woods manual to the comer pto manual. Anybody got any straightforward info on how to get the tiller PTO on the tractor with minimal loss of blood?

keep in mind, cutting the pto sliding shafts down equally only applies if they are triangular shafts.. some use a box end and reciever and it makes it a paion to shorten.
