PTO Leaf Blowers?

Our successful track record has indicated that Consumers are intelligent and that they will make good decisions if giving the facts, however if not all of the facts are accurate, they may make a decision they might regret down the road. I would rather explain our position up front than to defend a Poor product for a lifetime.

I am confused how releasing your CMF amd MPH specs would result in you having to defend a poor product for a lifetime... Not quite sure what the connection is there.

Please also note there are only 3 Turbine style Blower manufacturers on the market. Buffalo Turbine is the only one that offers a Turbine Style blower that is not a Pull Behind.

Actually, it appears that Toro and Agrimetal both make a skid mount turbine blower... They however do not have a 3 point turbine blower.

You are right - that was an old unit. Here is the manual for the new unit.....and we are back to being mushrooms...

I'm just guessing, but it seams reasonable to assume the Buffalo Turbine will not put out the same numbers as may be found published by squirrel cage blower manufacturers, since they probably publish best case airflow numbers and the Buffalo Turbine unit obviously blows through an elbow all the time.

It's not unreasonable that they would rather discuss maintained performance in all directions than compete on published maximum numbers. I don't see this - by itself - as any kind of negative. It does seem reasonable that they hope to win buyers through demonstrations of effectiveness rather than number publishing. It's a strategy that might lose some sales, but win others.

I have seen one of their units in operation at a road coarse track South of Houston, and it did appear quite reasonably effective. The maintenance staff use it for cleaning the track surface of debris, inclusive of gravel that winds up on the track after a car hits the gravel pit.

No CFM info in there... But the inset on page 23 was an interesting read, especially the part that says "Part # 1256 (center section) is a WEAR item that should be visually checked each time the engine oil is changed" odd thing to see on a PTO blower...
