PTO Noise

On my B2630 with 8 hours I turned on the PTO today for the first time with no implements hooked to it, just to check it out and it makes a rattleing noise. Is this normal ? The faster the RPM'S the less it rattles. It dose this in all 3 PTO posistions. Dose anyone elses make this noise or is this something I should have the dealer look at ?

It may be normal without a load on PTO. Do you have a PTO driven attachment that you can put on tractor?

I don't have any pto driven attachments at this time to put a load on it. I had just engaged it for the first time to check it out. I figured it should not make any noise.

I'm not sure but I suspect it may be an over running clutch that is rattling because there is no load.

Anyone with a 2630 or 3030 that dosen't have a pto driven attachment hooked up willing to turn there PTO on and see if it makes a rattleing noise or not. If it is normal I won't worry with it but if its not I want to get it in to the dealer to get it checked out. Thanks in advance for any info!
