PTO Noisy Problem

I have a Kubota L3010 with HST. I was brush clearing in the woods and my transmission/pto started making a clicking noise. I also notice that the pto spins, when not engaged.
If I turn off tractor and turn pto by hand, it makes the clicking noise. I did have some brush hung up under the tractor at the time of the noise started. It has since been cleared. The clicking comes and goes, but always is there when I turn the pto by hand. My hydro fluid is up to proper level.

Does the transmission make the noise if the pto isn't running?

Yes, when the pto is disengaged, the noise clanking/clicking is heard. The PTO spins a little, even when disengaged at the lever.
