Any chance of restoring the jeep to running order? You could have a "farm jeep" that would be one of the handiest tools on the place. Check out the old ads at our website Farm Jeep. You don't need the 3pt or pto setup, but you could have a real powered wagon. You wouldn't need more than seat for the driver and you don't need to be street legal. And it doesn't have to be pretty.

No this was a burnt out Jeep I picked up for $50 just for some parts. Dropped the fuel tank and it was half full and in tact

The engine is shot and I already have another Jeep for farm work

Just got myself stuck out in the field too trying to move some heavy slabs of concrete.

Buried up to the front diff!

Used the loader to lift up the front end and then made a bridge over the front tire holes

These farm jeeps are really cool. I never saw one, until last summer.

I agree with a lot of the guys here that I won't be using the trailer power unless I'm stuck or expecting to get stuck.

My next debate is what to do with the steering?

Should I let it self steer?

Lock it in place?

Hook up the tow bar to steer the front wheels like a hay wagon?

Which would you do?

FYI - I know where there is a Farm Jeep for sale. The guy hasn't used it in a couple years, but it was running when he left it. I wish he'd let me list it on craigslist for him.

The documentation I found on them, on the web was very interesting.
