pto sander salters?

are there any pto driven salter sanders that can handle the job? I know there are 12v dc units to spread salt only, are they any good?

TSC sells a 3pt /pto mounted light duty seeder/spreader. Spreads fertalizer pretty good too. WAY WAY WAY better than an electric one.. not as good as the big cone style.

It's on their web page as far as i know.. or at least their catalog.

Take a look at the Herd units, 5.5, 750s 1200s for spreading sand.

I have the Herd 5.5 and love it. Holds over 500 pounds of salted sand, is very rugged and throws a good pattern. You need the sander kit – hopper agitator and directional wings, to do the job right. The grate on top of the hopper ensures that nothing too big gets inside.

I'm in the same situation. I'm looking for a cheap spreader that will work reasonably well for sand. I'm hoping $300 - $500. Are any of the ones in this range any good?
Oh and I want pto driven not electric. I have a TC40D
