What do you guys think of this one? NEW 3 Pt Hitch PTO Broadcast Spreader Seeder FREE SHIP - eBay (item 360037823938 end time Apr-05-08 06:33:50 PDT)

I need one soon and the cheaper the better(price that is) plus it has free shipping. Don't be afraid to say you bought one and the piece of crap broke the first time.
I have found that most products made in Italy that I have bought were of good quality.

Thats about what I paid for mine at a local MF dealer and it looks a lot like mine

Expect typical light duty performance. It's for the occasional user - not the serious farmer. And farm store chains - Rural King/TSC/AgriSupply - sell it for less. But at only 37.5" tall, I don't believe the 1000# capacity claim. Since your L4630 is rated to lift over 2700# you might want to consider the 10 bushel model. They're not much more expensive, because the only difference is the hopper size. I'm inclined to think this one is the six bushel/640# capacity model.

Well I found 1 cheaper that was the same model but its a 2 1\2 hour drive and with gas prices what they are its just not worth it. The company that imports this is Welcome to UFI INFO at www.ufi-info.com and on their website they have the fs300 which is a 650# model so I will assume the f500 on ebay is the 1000# fs500 they list on their website. (atleast till I call on monday and ask) If all is as advertised it should be good enough for the light duty work I have.

sliverk, just a afterthought and not knowing your property, don'
t know if you could use it or not but if I were in the market for a spreader again, I believe I'd look at the high cap. pull behinds instead of a pto driven one
